This site was designed with the professional in mind and we respect your right to privacy. But sometimes we do need information to provide services that you request, and this privacy statement explains data collection and use in those situations. This privacy statement only applies to DCConsult; it does not apply to other online or offline sites, products or services. Please read the complete DCConsult privacy statement.

OVERVIEW:

DCConsult believes in the privacy of users of its web site and is committed to the responsible use of any information provided online. No personally identifiable information about a subscriber is collected unless voluntarily submitted to DCConsult. DCConsult uses the information collected to improve the web site and for responding to site users. Business or personal telephone numbers or e-mail addresses are not made available to third parties.

When viewing DCConsult, some information may be stored on a user’s computer. This information will be in the form of a "cookie" or similar file. These small pieces of information are stored on the user’s hard drive, not on the DCConsult site. Cookies will not invade anyone’s privacy or hard drive. Rather, they help the user to easily navigate the web site, and to prevent the user from reentering registration or login data at each connection.

 Collection of Personal Information
Visitors to our Web site can access the Web site's home page, and browse some areas of the site, without disclosing any personally identifiable information. We do track information provided to us by your browser, including the Web site you came from (known as the "referring URL"), the type of browser you use, the time and date of access, and other information that does not personally identify you. At DCConsult, you must register with us to use a larger portion of the site and subscribe for complete access.

Customers registering for services on our Web site are asked to provide us with identifying information, such as name, gender, contact information, and other identifying information. We have provided our users with a simplified registration screen where all information is required. DCConsult allows for the user to optionally provide additional personally identifiable information under the Your Settings page; any other collection of personally identifiable information will require the consent of the user.

DCConsult also collects information about which pages our members visit within DCConsult. This site visitation data is identified only by a unique ID number, and it is never linked with personal information.

 Use of Cookies
Cookies are a technology used by DCConsult to identify a user as the user moves through the Web site. Your browser allows us to place some information on your computer's hard drive that identifies the computer you are using. We use cookies to personalize our Web sites and to track your usage across all of our Web sites.

Your Web browser can be set to allow you to control whether you will accept cookies, reject cookies, or to notify you each time a cookie is sent to you. If your browser is set to reject cookies, Web sites that are cookie enabled will not recognize you when you return to the Web site, and some Web site functionality may be lost. The Help section of your browser will tell you how to prevent your browser from accepting cookies.

Although cookies do not normally contain personally identifiable information, if you are a registered user we may associate your registration information with cookies our Web site places on your computer's hard drive. Associating a cookie with your registration data allows us to offer increased personalization and functionality. For example, you can elect to have our Web sites "remember" your user name and password and bypass the sign-in process on each visit to the site. Without cookies, this functionality would not be possible.

DCConsult will not use cookies or any other technology to track the activity of our members outside of our online community.
